Requirements

• Candidates should have an excellent academic record, preferably in social sciences
• At least three years of EU-related Public Affairs experience with an agency, trade association, or as in-house lobbyist
• Professional experience in EU Institutions a plus
• Political sensitivity, an understanding of the EU decision making process, the EU Institutions, and the Brussels stakeholder environment required
• Well-established ‘Brussels’ network desirable
• Native or near-native written English, oral French an asset
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• A quick learner with a “can-do” attitude

Responsibilities

• Design and implementation of advocacy and stakeholder outreach campaigns
• Project management (including the design of methodologies, setup of project teams, budgeting, planning and reporting)
• Business development (with public, private and not-for-profit sectors)
• Internal management duties (human resources, networking, marketing etc.)
