Communications intern
Requirements
- Candidates should have an excellent academic record
- One or two previous internships with one of the European or MS institutions, NGO or private enterprise
- Native or near-native written English, French
- Understanding of the EU decision-making process
- Proficient in social media and online tools in general
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- A quick learner with a “can-do” attitude
Responsibilities
- Support the consultants in the development, implementation and evaluation of online political campaigns or marketing campaigns
- Research, input and management of various stakeholder databases
- Media analysis
- Participation in client meetings and input into the development of strategic client advice
- Participation in new business
Conditions
- Internships last between 6 and 9 months
- This is a paid internship (net €1,000/month)
- As per Belgian legislation, candidates will need to sign a Convention d’Immersion Professionelle.
- Stagiaires who leave their internship early (other than for a serious medical/family reason) will not receive a letter of recommendation.
- Stagiaires will be required to ensure medical coverage from their national health care system
- An ‘accidents on the job’ insurance is taken out on behalf of the stagiaire.
- The stagiaire will follow a training programme and be evaluated at the end of the internship.
